Gorgeous! Stunning! Engaging! Fascinating! Informative! These are just a few adjectives to describe this superbly illustrated picture book that discusses endangered and extinct animals. From the beautiful tiger to the less than fortunately looking vulture, animals of varied beauty and size need the help of many if they are going to remain a resident of Planet Earth. Martin Jenkins narrative was unique in the way that he seems to be giving a conversational lesson right to the reader. Vicky White is a tremendously talented artist who with little more than a pencil brought each creature to life on the page. A perfect book!
